DIY Spring Nails
April 29, 2013
Hey guys, it's Valerie here!
I have a super cute DIY for you guys today! So I recently had a outdoors photo shoot (except it wasn't for me, it was for the plants and flowers, and such. When I had the shoot, I just did these awesome spring nails. It's actually quite simple. First start off with a base coat to protect your natural nails. Then paint them two thin coats of any light pastel color (I chose this gorgeous baby pink). Then just use stripers or dotting tools and get creative! Don't have any of those? A toothpick will suffice just as well! I don't have a dotting tool, so I just used an inexpensive cotton swab for the polk-a-dots. I used hot pink and bright electric blue stripes on two nails, and electric blue stripes + neon green polk-a-dots for the other three. Let me know and send us pictures if you try out this super cute mani! If you'd like to do this on your toes, that could work as well! Good luck :)
